Replacement Motorcycle Clutch Kits

How, What, and When Replacing Your Clutch Fibers and Springs:
Burnt or purple looking plates need to be changed; New plates are silver grey in looking at them.
Clutch plates need to be soaked in engine oil for a 30 min to -24 hrs. allowing them to expand to full size. If not when after installing they will be too tight and not function properly after springs are torqued to specs.
Spacer plates do not need to be replaced. You should normally replace the springs, but you can get away with them if you have to.
Take out and replace in same order from clutch basket. You will start loading new fiber plate in first and then spacer plate in working toward you.
Silver space places have a sharp side and round side. Sharp side is looking at you out.

Every kit is a high performance clutch and spring kit that is designed for Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Honda, Ducati, BMW sport bikes.
Installing new clutch plates presoak them before hand in motor oil for up to 30 minutes. The new clutch kit starts with a fiber plate 1st then 2nd a steel plate with sharp edge facing side up. Make sure all plates are seated well before continuing. Now put back the pressure plate with new springs and original spring bolts. Hand tight bolts first, then then torque down to manufacture specs. Clean off surface of engine case and clutch cover to assure proper seal is made to both parts. Add new clutch cover gasket and torque to proper specs as well.
